My human had a long day...
If not for the presence of a lizard in the shower,
which shocked him back life,
he might have fallen asleep in the shower.
I almost felt a little bunny raisin poop out too,
thanks to the lizard.
Seriously, where do these filth come from?
Anyway, my human didn't have a good start.
He was allocated a small room today,
and he had a group theory class.
Couldn't be helped as all other rooms were occupied.
He managed through the day.
Could feel all the energy drain from him.
Not easy entertaining kids
while making sure they learned something too.
After work, my human and his friend decided
to utilize the 'Feed at Raffles' card,
and at buffet dinner at Market Plaza Cafe.
They stuffed themselves. Food was pretty yummy.
My human had the feeling that his stomach
was going to explode for 3 nights in a row now.
Moderation, my human....
After dinner, they met some friends
who had just come back from Taipei.
Which brings us to the subject matter.
We could have joined these friends in Taipei
for the countdown.
They had so much fun there.
My human really enjoyed the hotspring experience
the previous time he was there.
This time round, his friends told him
the temperature fell to below 10 degrees Celcius.
Imagine...
cool breeze carrassing your body,
steaming water from the hotspring warming from underneath....
Lots of friends for company.
Well, maybe next year.
Think my human is half asleep now.
The weekend is almost over.
What an irony....
He used to wish for longer weekends,
and now that the weekends seem to drag,
he can't wait for weekdays to approach quicker.

Disorganized Organization
It seems that bad things always happen to my human.
In a music school where everything's supposed to be in place,
it's not. Apparently, system malfunction.
It's just sheer miscommunication...
or carelessness
My human was fitted with a transfer student at 6.15pm.
He knew nothing about this.
Problem was.... He'd already arranged for a replacement class
at the same time, since the slot was available.
Had to apologize to the parent,
who said that this wasn't the first time it had happened.
Well, humans can be so inefficient.....
and careless.
After work, Boris came to pick my human for dinner.
They had dinner at a Japanese Restaurant in AMK Hub.
His friend ordered fried chicken in a bed of scrambled eggs.
He fancied some chicken and soup thingie.
When the order came,
my human was presented a plate of raw chicken
and steaming pot of hot soup.
He didn't know what to do, and asked the waitress.
Or rather he just wanted to be sure that he's supposed
cook the chicken in the soup.
His friend commented:
What's with cooking your own food in a restaurant?
They also ordered sides which included
rice, miso soup, chawanmushi and fruit.
His friend dished out half his portion of rice
and some pieces of chicken for my human.
It's usual practice for them to share each other's meals.
For more variety.
My human was busy cooking the chicken and dishing out
the cooked vegetables, mushrooms and chicken for his friend.
Towards the end of the meal, his friend realised that there's still
lots of rice left over and said he could have eaten the rice.
My human thought he didn't want too much rice.
All in all, the main courses were cleared,
but a bowl of miso soup and what could amount
to a bowl of rice was left.
Order less next time.
Crazy weekend is approaching.

1st day back at the music school after a 2-week break.
Can sense that my human is less than enthusiastic to start.
Lots of new students...
Almost all under the tutelage of someone else before.
Luckily he didn't have to deal with really bad habits.
Timetable was a bit screwed up due to oversight and miscommunication.
He told me he'll settle the timetable later.
Had to ask Boris for a ride to Esplanade.
My human brought his parents and god mum to
the 20th anniversary production of Beauty World.
Bigger, more colourful, more sets and costume changes.
New songs added too.
Quite a good experience,
singing was way better than the previous production,
and the preview on TV at the
Prez's Star Charity Show.
My human was glad he brought parents and god mum.
They enjoyed the show.
He really enjoyed the production too,
singing along, short of cha-cha-cha-ing along the aisle.
That would be soooo embarrassing.
Although he knows the story already,
I could still see tears streaking down his cheeks
towards the end of the show.
Too emotional.....
As usual, he bought the programme and the CD
(playing in the background now as I blog)
After the show, they had dinner at Glutton Square.
my human bought too much food -
$8 of Char Kway Teow AND Fried Prawn mee.
Well, my human had to finish most of the food.
He just told me he felt like sticking his finger in....
But in the end, he reached for the Vitagen in the fridge.
Can see him yawn now.....
Think he should get some rest
before the crazy weekend approaches.

First post in 2008 on last trip of 2007
It's been a long time since we went on a trip.
Our last trip to KL was close to a year ago.
He's very excited about this trip.
Hasn't had a break since he started teaching 9 months ago.
This trip to KL was pretty relaxing.
Not much of a mad rush trying on clothes
and hunting for clothes that fit.
In terms of shopping, he managed to get what he wanted -
2 PSOne dance mats
For his nephew and niece (supposedly)
- My human and his friend were the first to use the mats
on the day of their return.
Music Books
Found some reference books at Kinokuniya for his paper.
He went wild at Chamber Music at Sungei Wang.
Found some music scores that were
not easily obtainable in Singapore, and at a good price too.
He felt bad though,
that his friend had to wait for more than an hour
while he rummaged through the store.
It's a must-do for my human and his friends
to watch whatever's showing at the Imax
- huge screen, booming sound.
My human and his friends caught AVP2.
A little disappointing though,
since most of the scenes were dark,
and it wasn't digital, so the effect was slightly less than desired.
But overall quite ok.
Oh, and I think munching on all that popcorn
made my human a little ill...
*cough*
Wanted to watch a 3-D film on the Great Barrier Reef,
but didn't manage to.
Anyway, the rest of the time in KL was spent
stuffing themselves.
Had a great time at a japanese buffet.
Much more value for money
than the one they went to on the previous trip.
Some Jap buffet at Starhill. This was so much better.

The last few days in Malaysia were spent in
Malacca - the historic town.
They didn't do much sight-seeing,
just chilling at their friend's place.
Cool place to hang out.
Interesting bathroom (and very huge too)
They tried KFC which is supposed to taste better,
which of course made my human's cough and sore throat worse.
They also spent a day at a private club (Malacca Club)
My human was in the pool most of the time
while his friends were playing tennis.
They managed to turn on the water for the water slide
and had quite a bit of fun acting like children....
Relaxing New Year's Eve....
Dinner was at a famous Nonya Restaurant. Food was good,
and price was very reasonable.
Went back to change to paint the town red,
but they couldn't find a place to hang out in town.
Subsequently, they met some friends who brought them to this club,
with quite cool deco and people. But music was quite crap.
Looks like an AJ club, but apparently, pple there are not....
Well, humans have different faces
and lead different lives I guess.
They had their lame countdown there and headed home soon after.
Time to return back to reality on New Year's Day.
My human was quite ill already. Cough and a very bad throat.
Throughout the trip, he was feeling rather lethargic,
could be fever building up.
2nd Day of the New Year now....
My human is still recovering from his illness.
Cancelled some students in the morning.
He's thinking of doing the same for the rest of the day....
Rest well, my human....
